Where Do Comfort Springs Go?

So on all of our porch swings you will see the option to add a pair of comfort springs. We only carry one style of comfort springs and for good reason - they are the best. They are commercial grade and are heavy duty. They measure 2 inches in diameter and 8.5 inches in length. And talk about strength, each spring is rated for 600 lbs. So what do you do with these things? Quite simply they attach to the hook in your porch ceiling or swing stand and then on the other end to the top link of your hanging chains. So what do they do? Quite simply they act like a shock absorber for your new swing. They absorb some of the tension when sitting and swinging and this equals more comfort!
